HISTORY OF PUP Mulanay
PUP Mulanay, the youngest branch, strategically located along the national road, a kilometer and half from the town proper of Mulanay. It is now a landmark that adds life and beauty to the Vicinity. The mission for the establishment of a University in Bondoc Peninsula was realize through the passage of Republic Act No. 7645 better known as the General Appropriation Act of 1991 providing five million pesos(Php.5,000,000) as in initial capital outlay. Its operation started in June 19, 1993 as a result of the conserted effort of former Congressman Bienvinido O. Marquez, Jr. PUP president Dr. Nemesion E. Prudente and executive Vice President Zenaida A. Olanan, and with the donation of one hectare sprawling land by businessman philantrophist Frank Bocobo, PUP Mulanay now stands as an avenue of knowledge is the contryside.
